Born in L’viv Ukraine, now working in Brooklyn, NY, Luba Drozd received a BFA from Pratt Institute in Computer Graphics and an MFA from Bard College in Film and Video. Her site specific video and audio installations were exhibited at the Bronx Museum, LUBOV Gallery, UIMA Chicago, Jamaica Center for Arts and Language, Ukrainian Museum in New York, Apexart, BRIC and Smack Mellon. Luba Drozd was invited to present her work in public lectures at places such as Sweet Briar College, Bronx Museum and Bard College. She is the recipient of a MASS MoCA Visiting Artist Residency, VCCA artist residency fellowship, Millay Colony residency, Eastern State Historic Site Grant for New Work, BRIC Media Arts Fellowship and the Bronx Museum AIM program. Her upcoming shows include a two person show at the Knockdown Center.
