Site specific video and sound installation
Jamaica center for arts and language, 2017
The three piano strings compose a subdominant chord that anticipates the dominant chord, anticipates a resolution. The continuously shifting projection of an inside of a white cube shifts the perspective orientation of the space with strings continuously pulling on the shadow of the acetate screen hung in the installation space, cycling between perceptions of foreground, mid-ground and foreground perceptions of objects. The strings vibrate in succession never resolving into a dominant chord due to absence of the dominant chord strings, the rotating cube never resolves and settles the perspective.
