The piece was created with field recordings from Troy, NY. Each of the 16 channels plays a field recording, the samples then shift one speaker forward and one speaker to the right, essentially traveling on a mobius strip. The sonic architecture of the city moves through the viewer. The directional speakers are made from gas lamp parts.
